BIO - ART STATEMENT

MY PAINTINGS BEGIN WITH MOMENTS THAT ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO EXPLAIN

I am interested in the fragile threshold where the human body, nature, memory, and material existence begin to dissolve into one another. Through painting, I explore metamorphosis - not as a singular event, but as a continuous state of becoming.

My figures rarely inhabit stable identities. They emerge from forests, minerals, ruins, and landscapes, gradually transforming into environments that shape them in return. Crystals, plants, classical fragments, glass, and organic structures function as living metaphors rather than symbols; they speak about vulnerability, regeneration, perception, and the slow construction of self.

Much of my work grows from an experience of displacement and rebuilding. Moving between countries has made transformation feel less like a choice than a condition of existence. Instead of depicting loss directly,
I search for moments where decay quietly gives rise to new forms of life. Ruins continue to bloom, abandoned architectures are reclaimed by vegetation, and fractured bodies remain capable of renewal.

Equally important is the act of looking.

I am drawn to overlooked details - moss on stone, carved wood, forgotten architecture, wild plants, minerals, insects - not because of their ornamentation, but because they ask for time. In a culture increasingly shaped by speed, painting becomes an act of resistance: an invitation to slow down,
to observe, and to rediscover the emotional depth of the visible world.

My work is shaped by an interest in traditions that perceive nature not as a backdrop, but as a living presence. Landscapes, weather, silence, and ordinary objects are treated as active participants rather than passive scenery.
I am drawn to moments of quiet attention, where the emotional weight of an experience emerges not through narrative, but through atmosphere.

Ultimately, my paintings are not narratives with fixed meanings. They are spaces where transformation remains unfinished, where beauty becomes a form of attention, and where the boundary between the inner and outer world quietly disappears.
