DREAMS
25 x 25 cmOil on Canvas, Frauenfeld, 2021
Dreams are not presented here as illusions, but as another state of perception. A crystalline formation anchors the composition while an organic network hovers above it,
recalling both neural pathways and the branching patterns found throughout nature. Together they suggest that imagination is not separate from the world - it grows from the same structures that shape memory, sensation, and life itself.
The shifting landscape resists fixed distance, expanding and contracting like a remembered place. Reality becomes fluid, transformed not by fantasy but by attention, emotion, and memory.
The work reflects on the quiet possibility that the worlds we dream and the worlds we inhabit are shaped by the same consciousness.
